What is a Lip Lift?
A Lip Lift is a quick procedure that lifts the upper lift and gives a permanent rewarding lip rotation.
Short description of the procedure
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. A hidden incision is made at the nasal borders through which the lip is elevated and a rotation is created. This procedure can be performed during a regular rhinoplasty or nasal tip plasty surgeries.
How long does the procedure last?
What about the recovery?
Patients will experience discomfort that can be relieved with medication. Two days after the surgery, you should expect bruising & swelling to be at its worst. Sutures are removed after 7 days. An upper lip and nasal tip numbness is expected for a few weeks after the surgery.
Like any surgery, there are possible complications: hematoma, infection, scarring, asymmetries.
