What is a Lip Lift?

A Lip Lift is a quick procedure that lifts the upper lift and gives a permanent rewarding lip rotation.

Short description of the procedure

The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. A hidden incision is made at the nasal borders through which the lip is elevated and a rotation is created. This procedure can be performed during a regular rhinoplasty or nasal tip plasty surgeries.

How long does the procedure last?

30-60 minutes

What about the recovery?

Patients will experience discomfort that can be relieved with medication. Two days after the surgery, you should expect bruising & swelling to be at its worst. Sutures are removed after 7 days. An upper lip and nasal tip numbness is expected for a few weeks after the surgery.

Possible complications

Like any surgery, there are possible complications: hematoma, infection, scarring, asymmetries.
